The University of Ottawa is seeking a temporary Administrative Support Officer to backfill a regular HR/payroll position in the Faculty of Science. You will help manage payroll processes, contracts, and leave administration for the Department of Biology, reporting to the Lead Officer, Administrative Support.
The role requires at least two years in a similar HR/payroll capacity, strong communication, and bilingual proficiency in French and English.

Reporting to Lead Officer, Administrative Support, the incumbent is responsible to perform a variety of activities to support the human resources and payroll operations of the sector while ensuring compliance with related policies and procedures. Assist with other administrative functions (maintenance of office equipment, mail distribution, etc.) as required. In this role, your responsibilities will include:
