Job summary

Qualifications

• Be a graduate of a University Accounting program or equivalent.
• Be pursuing a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) Designation.
• Have 1 year of experience in a Public Accounting Firm.
• Have advanced comprehension of accounting principles, and application of (GAAP), IFRS, ASPE, ASNPO, Canadian Auditing Standards, and Canadian Income tax rule.

Education, Experience and Credentials

• Be a graduate of a University Accounting program or equivalent
• Be pursuing a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) Designation
• Have 1 year of experience in a Public Accounting Firm
• Have advanced comprehension of accounting principles, and application of (GAAP), IFRS, ASPE, ASNPO, Canadian Auditing Standards, and Canadian Income tax rule
• Have the ability to proficiently draft client documents from templates
• We believe in using technology to its fullest, so demonstrated proficiency with MS Office, with the ability to create advanced formulas, VLOOKUP, pivot tables, sum ifs, and data analytics and proficiency with Caseware, CaseView, Jazzit, Taxprep is needed.
• Promptly identify significant issues for discussion with the Manager and/or Partner
• Bring an inquisitive mindset and pose credible solutions to issues
• Ensure that all queries and outstanding points have been cleared satisfactorily
  Critically review your work before submitting it to your Manager
