Job summary

Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC) partners with BPA to deploy a multidisciplinary building engineering team on the client’s campus in Longueuil, Quebec. The role supports space planning, facility modernization, and project delivery across Canada.

The candidate will develop layouts, run planning workshops, and prepare construction drawings while coordinating with clients and contractors to ensure high-quality outcomes. Bilingual French/English communication is required.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Interior Design or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of related experience.
• Proficiency in French and English (written and spoken).
• Proficiency with AutoCAD.
• Self-motivated, practical and client-focused.

Responsibilities

• Participate in space planning and workplace layout designs for P&WC facilities across Canada.
• Lead workplace planning workshops with employees to develop new layouts considering workflow, ergonomics, health and safety.
• Act as primary client contact for space planning projects and ensure client satisfaction.
• Prepare design drawings and construction layouts using AutoCAD.
• Develop construction cost estimates.
• Coordinate project execution with client and contractors.
• Perform site surveys and site visits during construction.
• Prepare project documents including reports, site instructions, tender documents, addenda, directives.
• Ensure quality and accuracy of deliverables.
• Coordinate with BPA professionals, client reps, and external consultants across disciplines.
• Provide technical support during construction and project implementation.

About the Role

As part of a strategic partnership with Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC), our multidisciplinary building engineering team is deployed directly on the client’s campus in Longueuil, Quebec. We support a wide range of infrastructure, space planning, and facility modernization projects across Canada.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in the development of space planning and workplace layout designs for various P&WC corporate facilities across Canada.
• Lead workplace planning workshops with employees to develop new layouts, taking into consideration workflow efficiency, ergonomics, health and safety requirements, and user needs.
• Act as the primary point of contact with the client for space planning projects and ensure client satisfaction throughout project delivery.
• Prepare design drawings and construction layouts using AutoCAD.
• Develop construction cost estimates.
• Coordinate project execution with the client and contractors.
• Perform site surveys of existing conditions and conduct site visits during the construction phase.
• Prepare various project documents, including reports, site instructions, tender documents, addenda, and directives.
• Ensure the quality and accuracy of all deliverables issued to clients.
• Coordinate with BPA professionals, client representatives, and external consultants across multiple disciplines.
• Provide technical support during construction and project implementation.

Desired Profile

• Diploma in Interior Design or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• One to three years of experience in a related field.
• Strong proficiency in French and English, both written and spoken.
