Job summary

Humber River Health is seeking a Clinical Manager – Emergency Services for the Emergency Department at the Wilson Site in the Greater Toronto Area. This Temporary Full Time position offers leadership over patient care operations and program delivery until February 28, 2027.

The role requires current CNO registration, a Bachelor of Nursing, and a Masters in Nursing or related field, with at least five years of clinical practice and three years in leadership within acute care.

Qualifications

• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing required.
• Master’s in Nursing, Health Science or related field is required.
• Minimum of five years relevant clinical experience and a minimum of three years leadership experience in an acute care setting.
• Experience with quality of improvement.
• Experience in effective critical thinking, decision making and problem solving skills within a fast paced, complex and continually changing environment.
• Experience in leading change, building high functioning teams and effective working relationships.
• Skills in strategic planning, project management, and effective resource management and utilization.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Manager – Emergency Services to join our Emergency Department.

Employment Status: Temporary Full Time

Contract Duration: Until February 28, 2027

Location: Humber River Health, Wilson Site

Salary Range: $64.4300 - $78.389 per hour

Responsibilities:

Requirements:

• Minimum of five years relevant clinical experience and a minimum of three years leadership experience in an acute care setting.
