Job summary

Humber River Health is seeking a Manager of Clinical Programs to join the Post Anesthetic Care Unit (PACU) & Endoscopy leadership team. This permanent full-time role reports to the Program Director, Perioperative Services & Endoscopy and leads a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities include coordinating resources, advancing strategic priorities, and mentoring staff to drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced acute care environment within the Humber

Qualifications

• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario in good standing.
• Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing required.
• Master’s in Nursing, Health Science or related field required; candidates pursuing their Masters will be considered.
• Minimum of five years relevant clinical experience and at least three years leadership in an acute care setting.
• Experience in critical thinking, decision making and problem solving in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in leading change and building high-functioning teams and effective working relationships.
• Skills in strategic planning, project management and resource management.
• Excellent attendance and discipline-free record.

• Support a patient-centered care model based on best practice, standards and continuous quality improvement.
• Foster a professional practice climate and an interdisciplinary approach to patient care.

• Provide leadership to advance the goals of PACU & Endoscopy Emergency Services and support program/organizational priorities.
• Coach and mentor staff to navigate change.
• Manage all aspects of employee relations including recruitment, retention, attendance and performance in collaboration with HR and Labour Relations.

Salary Range: $122,638.50 - 152,858.55.
