Location: Calgary, AB Term: 1-year contract, likely extension Schedule: Monday-Friday (40 hours/week) Type: Contract Our midstream client is seeking an Integrity Project Manager to lead the execution of pipeline integrity projects, with a strong focus on ILI programs and integrity dig projects. This role manages multiple concurrent integrity projects and provides technical and engineering support across pipeline assets.
Key Responsibilities
- ILI Program Management – Lead and execute ILI (In-Line Inspection) programs end-to-end
- Coordinate tool runs, vendor interfaces, anomaly assessments, and reporting
- Manage timelines, deliverables, and post-ILI remediation planning
- Integrity Dig Project Execution – Plan and manage multiple dig programs concurrently
- Coordinate contractors, safety, scheduling, and field execution
- Ensure compliance with CSA Z662 and internal integrity standards
- Support field investigations, anomaly verification, and repair activities
- Technical & Engineering Support – Engage internal engineering teams (hydraulics, stress, corrosion, operations)
- Provide code and regulatory expertise for pipeline operations and maintenance
- Support the Management of Change (MOC) process
- Execute integrity projects to assess and mitigate threats to pipeline integrity
- Project Management – Manage scope, schedule, cost, and documentation for multiple small-to-medium projects
- Lead multidisciplinary teams and interface with internal/external stakeholders
- Ensure adherence to project management processes and specifications
Required Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng) registered with APEGA
- 5-15 years of pipeline integrity experience
- Hands-on experience running ILI programs (MFL, UT, EMAT, caliper, etc.)
- Experience executing integrity dig projects
- Strong understanding of pipeline operations, maintenance, and regulatory requirements
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
- Engineering degree in mechanical, civil, chemical, metallurgical, or related discipline
- Operator-side experience (midstream or upstream)
Preferred – Experience with integrity software (Maximo, Accumap, Abacus, etc.)
- Knowledge of CSA Z662 and provincial/federal pipeline regulations
- Experience with anomaly assessment, threat management, and repair planning
