Job summary

Hunter Bond is seeking an Integration Engineer – FIX, Linux, SQL for a Montreal-based hybrid role within a FinTech trading environment. You will integrate new products into Production and collaborate across Trading Production teams.

The role covers project management, production support, lifecycle management, and working with third-party vendors. Strong Linux, SQL, and FIX experience, plus scripting in Python or Bash, are required to succeed.

Qualifications

• Experience in Production Support or Integration within Financial Services.
• Front Office experience preferred.
• Strong Linux experience.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Scripting in Python and/or Bash.
• FIX protocol experience.

Compensation:$120,000 - $160,000 CAD + Bonus
Location:Montreal / Hybrid

Overview

My client are seeking an individual with experience ideally working in the Front Office.

You will work closely with a number of different teams who focus on the Trading Production environment.

The Role

Integration: Integrating new products into the Production environment.

Project Management: Managing projects large and small, including application rollouts and implementations.

Production Support: Providing support to various teams and for the Production environment.

Lifecycle Management: Maintaining EoL procedures for hardware and software.

Third Parties: Working with 3rd parties.

Application Support: Supporting newly released applications.

Automation: Automating tasks wherever possible for efficiency.

Requirements

• Environment: Experience working in a Production Support or Integration role within Financial Services.
• Front Office: Front Office experience ideally.
• Linux: Strong Linux experience.
• SQL: Strong SQL skills.
• Scripting: Python and/or Bash.
• FIX: FIX protocol experience.
