Job summary

Symbiotic Group is seeking a Senior API Software Developer/Integration Developer in Toronto for an onsite role.

You will design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, and integration patterns using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Integration, with a focus on security and performance.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing, building, and consuming REST APIs, including API documentation and testing.
• Strong expertise in integration patterns and integration solution development using Spring Integration.
• Deep understanding of microservice architecture and scalable, highly available systems.
• Hands-on experience with Azure services, messaging queues, event-driven architecture, and asynchronous processing.
• Strong SQL skills with relational databases such as SQL Server or Oracle.
• Experience implementing OAuth2, JWT, SAML, and related authentication/authorization technologies.
• Transforming data across formats including JSON, XML, and CSV.
• Ability to apply data transformation techniques such as mapping and normalization.
• Proficient in Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, OpenShift, and container orchestration technologies.
