Position Summary

The Integrated Solution Leader (ISL) in the Training System team is responsible for designing end-to-end training solutions for defense forces and para-military organizations worldwide, utilizing CAE’s simulation technologies and teaching methodologies. The role involves collaboration with global experts and industry partners to define training solutions from early customer needs to full lifecycle delivery, including academic, synthetic, and live-virtual-constructive environments.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead the development of fully integrated training solutions from initial customer engagement through contract award.
• Serve as the main point of contact and Design Authority for training solutions.
• Participate in R&D roadmaps to meet current and future training needs.
• Guide capture teams on large training system integration opportunities.
• Conduct needs analysis, curriculum design, and leverage CAE technologies and subcontractor capabilities.
• Ensure training requirements are well defined and validated with system architects.
• Collaborate on strategic planning, including make-buy analysis and workshare definitions.
• Present and review solutions with stakeholders during pre-contract phases.

Required Skills, Experience & Qualifications

• At least 15 years in industry or military training, with 10 years in operational or maintenance training for defense.
• Canadian Forces experience is highly desirable.
• Experience leading large training development or integration projects.
• Knowledge of training development processes, adult learning, and e-learning.
• Familiarity with SAT & DSAT, Instructional Systems Design.
• Desirable knowledge includes RCAF ranges, EW threats, military operational training, communication systems, and F-35 operations.
• Excellent communication, proposal development, and business acumen.
• Knowledge of systems engineering and project management is a plus.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 10% and obtain security clearances.
