Cameco Corporation is seeking an Int. Technician, Mine (Survey) to support both underground and surface survey activities for mine development and production.
You will perform mark-ups, month-end surveys, and liaise with technical services to coordinate field work, while adhering to safety and efficiency priorities. The role requires two years of underground surveying experience, proficiency with GPS and Total Stations, and experience with 3D drafting tools such as Deswik/Vulcan/AutoCAD.

McArthur River, located in northern Saskatchewan, is the world’s largest high-grade uranium mine. The uranium produced at McArthur River is used for nuclear fuel products, which utilities around the world rely on to generate safe, reliable, emissions-free nuclear power. Cameco is one of the largest global providers of the uranium fuel needed to power a secure energy future.
Reporting to the senior engineer, mine, you will be primarily responsible for survey activities in support of mine development and production activities. Your role will also include performing various surface survey tasks, concrete QA/QC, and assisting with mine engineering data collection and instrumentation monitoring as needed. This position involves a diverse range of responsibilities both underground and on the surface, as well as office-based tasks. A strong focus on safety and efficiency is expected in all aspects of the work.

The McArthur River operation is located in northern Saskatchewan and operates on a two week on/two week off rotational schedule. Employees commute to the site by aircraft from designated locations in Saskatchewan.
