Job summary

Cayuga Mutual Insurance Company is seeking a Sales Agent to build and manage a growing portfolio of Home, Auto, Farm and Commercial insurance in the Brantford/Norfolk or Niagara region.

You will prospect, quote, bind and renew policies, and serve as a trusted local advisor for members and communities. A valid OTL/RIBO license, driver’s license and local travel are required; hybrid/remote options may be available within territory.

Qualifications

• P&C insurance, sales, or customer service experience.
• Valid OTL/RIBO license or equivalent.
• Strong communication and consultative selling skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for local travel.
• CAIB/CIP in progress; knowledge of agriculture and small commercial is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prospect, qualify, quote and bind in line with underwriting guidelines; maintain a healthy pipeline.
• Proactively manage renewals/retention; identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
• Provide responsive, personalized member service, support members through the claims journey.
• Track activities and outcomes in CRM; EPIC experience is an asset.
