Hours Per Week: 35 (Full-Time)

Location: Windsor, Hamilton, Oshawa, Sudbury, Timmins, Toronto, Mississauga, and Ottawa – Hybrid (https://www.nfp.ca/about-nfp/find-an-office)

About the Role

We are seeking an energetic and passionate Insurance Client Executive / Insurance Broker who will leverage their industry knowledge to offer customized personal insurance coverage, ensuring peace of mind for both new and existing clients.

What You’ll Do
  1. Provide expert advice, recommendations, and counseling to prospects regarding their personal insurance needs.
  2. Meet or exceed individual sales targets and departmental goals.
  3. Prepare documentation for prospects, including completing applications, issuing insurance certificates, and processing applications.
  4. Maintain professional relationships with key underwriters.
  5. Resolve concerns or complaints professionally, leveraging product and service knowledge.
  6. Quote new prospects using Applied Rating Services or Company Portals.
  7. Represent the brokerage at industry events as required.
  8. Stay current on industry changes, underwriting rules, and workflow processes.
  9. Participate actively in training initiatives.
What You Bring
  1. RIBO License in good standing is required.
  2. Provincial licenses such as Alberta General 1 are required.
  3. Typically, more than 2 years of industry and/or personal lines experience.
  4. Extensive experience with Major Domestic Personal Lines Markets (e.g., Intact, Aviva, Economical).
  5. Passion for sales and exceptional quoting skills, committed to delivering excellent client service.
  6. Professional presentation and demeanor, with a solid understanding of personal insurance sales.
  7. Experience working in high-volume or fast-paced environments.
  8. Experience in a Contact Centre environment is an asset.
  9. Strong computer skills, including fluency in Broker management systems (EPIC & ARS experience is an asset).
  10. Ability to quickly learn NFP’s business model and value proposition.
  11. Excellent collaboration skills, both in person and virtually.
  12. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly in English and French (asset).
  13. Professional insurance designations (e.g., CAIB, CIP, CRM) are a plus.
