Job summary

Jobtailor in Halifax is seeking a Personal Insurance Advisor to provide home and auto planning and advice to the personal market. You will acquire new sales through client-focused insurance advice and solutions based on insurance needs analysis, and proactively engage with potential clients over the phone or in person, building trusted advisor relationships.

You will serve existing clients with excellent advice to retain their business, meet clients virtually or in RBC Insurance store locations,

Qualifications

• General Insurance License to sell home and auto insurance.
• Proven professional sales experience with an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Results oriented and driven to succeed, passionate and curious to help clients meet their needs.
• Interpersonal, communication and problem resolution skills.
• Digital literacy using a variety of systems and tools.
• Bilingualism (French and English) — nice-to-have.
• Proven success in achieving sales targets — nice-to-have.
• Experience with business development and relationship management — nice-to-have.
• An existing network of referrals and centers of influence — nice-to-have.
