Job Summary

The role at RBC Insurance Advice Centre offers flexibility and fulfillment. We provide the necessary tools, training, and support to obtain the Damage Insurance Certificate from l’Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) and the Ontario insurance license, along with other provincial licenses. As an RBC Licensed Insurance Advisor for Home & Auto, you will be the trusted voice providing insurance advice and options to help clients protect their assets. You should be empathetic, helpful, friendly, and able to communicate clearly and proactively. Your focus will be on delivering exceptional client experiences, building relationships, and contributing to team and individual sales goals by recommending suitable insurance solutions and referring clients internally.

Responsibilities
  • Provide insurance advice and solutions via inbound calls based on client needs.
  • Ensure a positive client experience, resolving concerns at first contact and building meaningful relationships.
  • Complete personalized needs assessments using available tools and resources.
  • Understand regulatory risks when underwriting and updating policies.
  • Follow procedures effectively during client interactions.
  • Maintain relationships with partners to work as a cohesive RBC team.
Qualifications

Must-have:

  • Willingness and ability to obtain the Quebec Damage Insurance certificate from l’Autorité des marchés financiers and the General Insurance License for Ontario and other provinces.
  • Bilingual in English and French, with high proficiency in reading, comprehension, and speaking.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and relationship-building ability.
  • Flexibility to work within all shifts during operating hours (Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 8:30 pm).
  • Digital literacy across various devices (smartphones, tablets, laptops).

Nice-to-have:

  • Possession of the Quebec Damage Insurance certificate.
  • Post-secondary education.
  • Knowledge of insurance products.
  • Experience in customer service or sales in a contact center environment.
