L’hôte/l’hôtesse est la première personne à accueillir les invités avec courtoisie et sourire, offrant ainsi une première impression positive du restaurant et du bar. Il/elle est responsable de la gestion des réservations, de la connaissance des menus et de l’organisation des espaces de service. La personne doit également reconnaître les clients réguliers et faire preuve de flexibilité pour travailler les fins de semaine et jours fériés.

Ce Que Vous Ferez

  • Accueillir, installer les invités et gérer les réservations selon les standards Four Seasons.
  • Répondre aux demandes et anticiper les besoins des invités pour assurer un service personnalisé.
  • Organiser le kiosque d’accueil, gérer les plans de salle et veiller au bon équilibre des stations de service.
  • Répondre aux appels téléphoniques, prendre les réservations et informer sur les services du restaurant et de l’hôtel.
  • Contrôler la qualité des menus et maîtriser parfaitement les plats et offres du jour.
  • Collaborer avec les autres départements et signaler les incidents ou demandes spéciales à la direction.

Ce Que Vous Contribuez

  • Forte compétences en communication
  • Expérience en service à la clientèle haut de gamme, avec de fortes aptitudes interpersonnelles, professionnalisme et discrétion.
  • Connaissance des opérations en restauration (nourriture et boissons) et capacité à travailler dans un environnement rapide et multitâche.
  • Excellente organisation, souci du détail et orientation vers les résultats.
  • Maîtrise des outils informatiques (MS Office, Word, Excel) ; connaissance d’OpenTable est un atout.
  • Expérience en hôtellerie ou en restauration de luxe est un plus ; capacité à rester debout pendant de longues périodes.

About The Role

Due to local regulations, priority will be given to candidates who are authorized to work in Canada and are fluent in both French and English, spoken and written.

The host/hostess is the first to greet guests with courtesy and a smile, creating a positive first impression of the restaurant and bar. They are responsible for managing reservations, knowing the menus, and organizing the service areas. The host/hostess is also expected to recognize regular guests and have a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

What You Will Do

  • Greet and seat guests while managing reservations in line with Four Seasons standards.
  • Handle guest requests, anticipate needs, and provide personalized service.
  • Organize the host stand, oversee seating plans, and ensure balanced station assignments.
  • Answer phone calls, take reservations, and provide information about the restaurant and hotel services.
  • Maintain menu quality and stay fully informed on daily specials and menu offerings.
  • Collaborate with other departments and promptly report any incidents or special requests to management.

What You Bring

  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong customer service experience with superior interpersonal skills, professionalism, and discretion.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage operations, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel); experience with OpenTable is an asset.
  • Previous experience in luxury hospitality or restaurant settings is a plus; ability to stand for extended periods.
