Insurance Broker - Commercial

As an Insurance Broker you are responsible for meeting sales targets through quotes and by referring new business. Every day you will build lasting relationships with your customers, helping to protect what matters most to them.

Here is what a typical day looks like

  • Create policy documents, new business packages, loss payable certificates, and invoices
  • Onboard new clients by providing tutorials for customer portal tools
  • Support client transition from the sales team to the service team
  • Partner with sales team and underwriting department on new business submissions
  • Follow up on client accounts to support resolving outstanding activities
  • Continuous learning through product knowledge
  • Participate in ongoing process improvements to support business needs
  • Provide weekly reports including internal metrics, accounts receivable tracking, and more

The value you bring

  • Experience achieving sales targets individually and as a team
  • Well versed in navigating multiple computer programs at once
  • General Level 1 Insurance License an asset
  • Preferred understanding of policy wordings/coverages
  • Strong sales and communication skills
  • Working experience in EPIC an asset

Hours: Full Time – 37.5 hours/week
