Job summary

Axis Insurance is seeking an Account Administrator to support submissions, proposals, and client communications in Oakville. You will liaise with underwriters, prepare renewals, and maintain client records with accuracy.

The role emphasizes strong service, attention to detail, and collaboration with Account Managers to ensure timely responses and efficient administration. A license and insurance experience are valued assets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of insurance experience.
• General Insurance Salesperson Level 1 license or plan to obtain within 3 months.
• Asset: CAIB, CIP, CRM or related designations.
• Post-secondary degree is an asset.
• Experience with Epic broker management system is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Prepare submissions for marketing and negotiate terms with underwriters.
• Prepare proposals for quotes and renewals.
• Maintain client accounts and update underwriters on requests.
• Issue Certificates of Insurance, endorsements and invoices as applicable.
• Provide friendly, professional service to clients and internal teams.
• Handle routine inquiries and assist Accounts Receivable processes.
