Insurance Account Manager - Desjardins Insurance Agency

Position Overview :

We're seeking an enthusiastic, hardworking, and fun individual for the role of an Insurance Account Manager at our locally owned Desjardins Insurance Agency. We are a full-service agency specializing in Car, Home, Recreational Vehicles, Commercial, and Life/Health Insurance. As we grow our team, this role requires the right candidate to demonstrate a desire to achieve uncapped compensation through a combination of salary and unlimited commissions, fostering a 'grow a business within the business' mentality and nurturing client relationships. Bilingual candidates are a plus!

While having your insurance licenses is advantageous, it is not mandatory. We will provide the necessary training and sponsor your licensing process. Our current team of five is committed to your success through ongoing training, development, and collaboration. You should understand that relationships drive business growth, and you will act as a strategic partner, helping clients find solutions to their insurance needs. Earning Potential :

Starting with a $50,000 base salary plus uncapped commissions

Responsibilities :

• Prospect and develop client leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and present suitable products and services.
• Utilize product and sales training to maximize your income potential.
• Provide prompt, accurate, and exceptional client service.
• Respond to inquiries about insurance options, coverage, policy changes, transfers, and conduct prospecting and cold-calling.
• Collaborate with the team and owner to grow the business while developing your skills for advancement and increased income.
• Embrace learning opportunities and develop your career in a dynamic environment.

Requirements :

• Previous sales experience (outside sales, inside sales, retail, telemarketing) is a plus.
• Motivated by personal success and achievement.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with social media tools and willingness to use them for client interaction.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced setting.
• Willing to obtain Property & Casualty and Life Insurance licenses, which we will support and fund if needed.
