Job summary

Shell Canada is seeking an Instrumentation/Analyzer Technician to join the Scotford Maintenance Department. You will perform maintenance and troubleshooting on analyzers, control valves, and related field devices to ensure safe, reliable operations.

This role requires a minimum of five years as a journeyperson in Instrument/Analyzer maintenance, with strong safety awareness and collaboration with operations, engineering, and craft teams.

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years as a ticketed Journeyperson Instrument/Analyzer Technician/Mechanic.
• Strong process instrumentation and analyzer maintenance knowledge.
• Experience with CEMS, GC’s, mass spectrometry, and related instruments is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Verify and execute work on approved work orders to maintain safe operations.
• Troubleshoot, calibrate, and repair field devices and analyzers.
• Support outages and reliability programs with cross‑functional teams.
