Instrumentation Technician - Journeyperson/Apprentice - Cargill

Job Description

Jardeg is recruiting for Instrumentation Tech Journeyperson/Apprentice for upcoming work at Woodland Constructors Ltd. to build the new Cargill Canola Processing Plant in Regina, SK. Expected Completion Date: 2025.

Responsibilities
  1. Work with pneumatic and electronic instruments to measure and control variables such as pressure, flow, temperature, level, and composition.
  2. Install tubing for instrument air, sample points, and analyzers.
  3. Install flowmeters, pressure transmitters and gauges, temperature indicators, controllers, and other recording, indicating, or controlling instruments.
  4. Calibrate, repair, maintain, and adjust system components; install and maintain instruments on new or existing equipment.
  5. Prepare schematic drawings, sketches, and reports to reflect changes or alterations made in instruments, circuits, and systems.
  6. Experience with tubing and calibration would be considered an asset.
Requirements
  1. Possess a valid Journeyperson certificate or currently be indentured into the Instrumentation trade.
  2. CSTS 2020 or SCOT Certificate.
  3. ESTS - Good to have but not required.
  4. Valid Driver's License.
  5. Satisfactory completion of Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test.
