Job summary

TWD is seeking an Intermediate Instrumentation Engineer for our Calgary, AB office. You will provide engineering design, analysis and technical support for instrumentation and control systems across energy and infrastructure projects, with emphasis on SPI databases, control system integration and project deliverables.

You will coordinate instrumentation activities through the project lifecycle, work with DCS/PLC/SIS interfaces, and apply codes and client requirements while maintaining data

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, or Control Systems engineering.
4–9 years of instrumentation and controls engineering experience.
Hands-on experience with Hexagon Smart Plant Instrumentation (SPI) is required.
Experience on energy, oil & gas, power, utilities, industrial, infrastructure projects preferred.
P.Eng. designation or eligibility with APEGA is preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop and review instrumentation deliverables for energy and infrastructure projects.
Prepare instrument specs, data sheets, I/O lists, loop diagrams, and related docs.
Develop instrumentation design criteria, philosophies, and technical documentation.
