Building on substantial advancements achieved in the laboratory, as well as successful de-risking in the hydrogen production pilot plant, VulcanX is now poised to scale its natural gas pyrolysis technology further.
Our current focus is on the development, procurement, construction, commissioning, and operation of our second-generation pilot plant. This marks a pivotal phase in the de-risking process and supports the pathway toward widespread commercialization.
We are seeking an experienced part-time Instrumentation and Control Engineer (15-20 hrs/week) to join our dynamic team and support the FEED, detailed design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and operations of VulcanX's hydrogen production plants. As an integral member of the team, you will have the opportunity to be involved in the instrumentation and control of this novel technology. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of industrial experience in chemical plant design, with a strong background in pressurized systems, high-temperature hydrocarbon pyrolysis, corrosive environments, and a deep understanding of hydrogen systems.
