The City of Kawartha Lakes is hiring an Instructor Guard for the Lindsay Recreation Complex and Forbert Memorial Pool. The position is permanent full-time, unionized under CUPE 855 Inside, and includes days, evenings and weekends with some travel within the City.
Responsibilities include supervising pool operations, maintaining records, ensuring patron safety, and teaching quality swimming programs as needed.
The Lifeguard and Instructor Guard provide instructions and supervision of patrons, and maintain safe operation and maintenance at the municipal pool facilities.
