YMCA of Southwestern Ontario is seeking a part-time Child and Youth Program Staff member for the Chatham Kent YMCA location, starting October 26, 2026, at 17.95 CAD/hour. The role emphasizes delivering engaging youth programs while upholding YMCA values and safety standards.

Qualifications include experience with children, First Aid/CPR, and current CRC with Vulnerable Sector screening. Vaccination requirements apply unless exemptions exist. Evening/weekend shifts are expected.

• It is a YMCA of Southwestern Ontario requirement that all employees and volunteers be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Exemptions will be granted upon receipt of acceptable proof of a permissible Human Rights Code ground. This requirement has been suspended effective June 30, 2022. It may be reinstated in future should the state of public health in our communities require it.

Schedule:

• Expectation for 1-2 program shifts a week minimum, evenings, and weekends
• Looking for flexible availability but mainly mornings from 915am to 1130am. May not be suitable for a student.
