Developing and teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in timber and timberland procurement and fiber resources (40%), outreach and technical support to Arkansas's forest industry (60%), applied research on forest procurement and marketing, outreach, service, mentoring students, and developing an externally-funded research program.
Experience in applied forest management, with strengths in timber and wood product marketing, land valuations, or logging operations. A master's degree in forestry or business for instructor rank; Ph.D. related to forest operations or finance for assistant professor. Practical forestry experience and ability to collaborate with industry and organizations are desirable.
