Medline Canada is seeking an Installation Technician to install and configure dental equipment and cabinetry at dental offices across Canada. You will load, unload, and move equipment, install according to manufacturer guidelines, and work closely with site teams to ensure quality outcomes.

The role requires a valid Canadian driver’s license, physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

  • Comfortable to use hand and portable power tools.

Responsibilities

  • Install and configure dental equipment and cabinetry at dental offices.
  • Load equipment into trucks for delivery and unload at site.
  • Move equipment safely into the dental office and install per manufacturer specs.
  • Provide recommendations for improvements and resolve installation issues.
  • Ensure on-time completion and safeguard office and equipment during installation.

Job Description Summary

The Installation Technician is responsible installing and configuring new and existing dental equipment and cabinetry into dental offices.

Job Description
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Installs Dental Equipment By
  • Loading equipment into our trucks for delivery
  • Unloading equipment from our trucks and removal of empty boxes from the job site
  • Moving all equipment into the dental office in a safe manner
  • Installing equipment as specified by the manufacturer and the site team leader and client
  • Formulating recommendations, propose improvements and solutions to problems arising during installation
Ensure The Quality Of The Customer Experience By
  • Following through on commitments to customers and internal colleagues
  • Listening to customers concerns and issues. If required, address the customer’ complaint by following the proper chain of command
  • Providing on-time completion of installations
  • Ensuring no damage is caused in the dental office or to the equipment during installation
  • Ensuring the equipment is installed correctly as per manufacturer specifications
  • Ensuring a safe work environment by understanding and following safety procedures and reporting injuries or unsafe acts to our health and safety manager
QUALIFICATION & SKILL REQUIREMENT
  • Expertise in electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic or mechanic will be considered as an asset.
  • 1 year experience in customer service
  • Comfortable to use hand and portable power tools

Position Specific Requirements

Work is mainly performed at customer sites. Must hold a valid Canadian driver’s license and a good driving record. Flexibility to accept periodic overnight travel and evening/weekend work. This position requires lifting and carrying heavy equipment.

The targeted hiring range for this position is $60k-$70k. Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on factors such as the candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, geographic location, and knowledge relevant to the role.

The Anticipated Salary Range For This Position

$54,200.00 - $81,200.00 Annual
