Job summary

Trans Global Service is seeking a customer service professional to join our team in Canada. You will handle customer inquiries by phone and email, provide installation-related support, and promote loyalty with value-added solutions.

The role emphasizes accurate data handling, collaboration with colleagues, and maintaining current knowledge of policies and products. The position requires prior call centre experience, professional etiquette, and strong communication (English/French assets).

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous, prompt, and professional service to customers over the phone with first contact resolution.
• Work with peers and management to address customer concerns efficiently.
• Follow up with customers to identify and support their needs.
• Offer value-added solutions and promote customer loyalty through exceptional support.
• Provide best-in-class service on appliance installation and assembly.
• Explain installation processes to retailers and customers.
• Correspond with retailers and customers verbally and electronically.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of policies, procedures, and products.
• Process routine clerical transactions between calls.
• Communicate with Trans Global Service’s network of professional providers.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous, prompt, and professional service to customers over the phone with the goal of resolving customer questions and concerns with first contact resolution
• Work with peers and management to ensure that customer concerns are addressed in the most efficient manner
• Follow up with customers to identify and support their needs
• Offer value-added solutions and promote customer loyalty by providing exceptional customer support
• Provide best-in-class customer service on appliance installation and assembly service
• Explanation of installation process to retailers and customers
• Correspond with retailers and customers verbally and electronically
• Maintain up to date knowledge of new policies, procedures, and products
• Process routine clerical transactions in between calls
• Communication with TGS’ network of professional service providers

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a call centre or customer service environment required
• Professional phone and email etiquette
• Utmost discretion with confidential customer information
• Excellent data entry and keyboarding skills
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; Bilingual language skills (English & French) are an asset
• Strong attention to detail
• Superior organizational, and multi-tasking skills
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills
• Strong desire to take ownership and accountability of task completion
• Intermediate knowledge in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams
• Ability to work effectively with and without supervision
