Job summary

Trans Global Service seeks a customer service representative to join our Edmonton team. You will handle customer inquiries by phone and email, aiming for first-contact resolution while maintaining professionalism.

You will collaborate with peers, follow up on customer needs, and promote loyalty through value-added solutions. Bilingual English–French is an asset; strong data entry and proficiency with Microsoft Office are required.

Qualifications

• Previous call centre or customer service experience.
• Professional phone and email etiquette.
• Discretion with confidential information.
• Strong data entry and keyboarding skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; bilingual in English and French is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work with or without supervision.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous, prompt, and professional service to customers over the phone with first contact resolution.

• Coordinate with TGS network of service providers.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous, prompt, and professional service to customers over the phone with the goal of resolving customer questions and concerns with first contact resolution
• Work with peers and management to ensure that customer concerns are addressed in the most efficient manner
• Follow up with customers to identify and support their needs
• Offer value-added solutions and promote customer loyalty by providing exceptional customer support
• Provide best-in-class customer service on appliance installation and assembly service
• Explanation of installation process to retailers and customers
• Correspond with retailers and customers verbally and electronically
• Maintain up to date knowledge of new policies, procedures, and products
• Process routine clerical transactions in between calls
• Communication with TGS’ network of professional service providers

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a call centre or customer service environment required
• Professional phone and email etiquette
• Utmost discretion with confidential customer information
• Excellent data entry and keyboarding skills
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; Bilingual language skills (English & French) are an asset
• Strong attention to detail
• Superior organizational, and multi-tasking skills
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills
• Strong desire to take ownership and accountability of task completion
• Intermediate knowledge in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams
• Ability to work effectively with and without supervision
