Job summary

The Hunter Douglas Retail Lead Network in Kenora, Ontario is seeking an experienced Install Technician for interior window treatments. This contractor role requires precise measurement, delivery verification, and professional installation, representing the brand on client sites.

You will coordinate scheduling with customers, handle product receiving, and resolve issues while maintaining superior service. Flexible scheduling, bi-weekly payments, and access to expert guidance from installation

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service and clear communication are essential.
• Proven measuring skills for window treatments and shutters.
• Extensive experience installing Hunter Douglas blinds, shades and shutters.
• Experience with drapery and other soft window coverings.
• Strong organizational skills and multitasking ability.
• Basic computer skills including email, printing and file uploads.
• Able to obtain liability insurance and possess licenses if required.
• Willing to operate under a contractor arrangement (1099).

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate installation appointments with customers.
• Conduct complex measurements for products as requested.
• Receive products, verify condition, and prepare for installation.
• Represent Hunter Douglas Retail Lead Network professionally on site and resolve issues with customers.

HD RLN has an opportunity for an experienced custom window treatment Installer

Schedule and coordinate installation appointment with our customer

• When requested, conduct complex measurements for products; including shutters
• Receive product at your location and verify that all product has arrived in good condition
• Professionally represent HD RLN and our retail partners
• Resolve issues while continuing to provide excellent customer service
