Job description

As a Instagram/TikTok Video Editor at MAD Social Agency, you'll be the creative genius behind our clients' visual content. You'll transform raw footage into captivating videos that engage audiences and convey compelling stories. If you're skilled at adding animations, captions, music, and more to bring videos to life, we want you on our team!

Hiring Contracted per video as well as Part-Time (if fast)

Must be able to produce a minimum of 17 videos a week (Flexible with when you want to work and where)

Responsibilities:

1. Edit and Produce High-Quality Videos: Transform raw footage into polished videos by adding animations, captions, music, and other effects.
2. Collaborate with Creative Team: Work closely with social media managers, content creators, and clients to understand the vision and objectives for each video project.
3. Develop Engaging Content: Create visually stunning videos that align with client goals and resonate with target audiences.
4. Optimize Videos for Various Platforms: Adapt video content for different social media platforms, ensuring each piece is optimized for format, length, and audience preferences.
5. Stay Current with Trends: Keep up-to-date with the latest video editing software, techniques, and trends to continuously improve content quality.
6. Maintain Brand Consistency: Ensure all videos adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual style.
7. Manage Multiple Projects: Handle several video projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and client expectations.
8. Provide Feedback and Insights: Offer constructive feedback during the video production process and suggest creative improvements.
9. Quality Control: Review and refine videos for final approval, ensuring high standards of quality and professionalism.

Requirements:

• Canadian resident.
• Proven experience in video editing with a strong portfolio of work.
• Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut).
• Strong understanding of video formats and best practices for different social media platforms.
• Creative flair and strong visual storytelling skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
