Job summary

Lanco Group of Companies in Vaughan, Canada, is seeking a quality inspector to oversee LiftKing final assemblies and incoming components, perform testing of machines, and provide technical support for production. Responsibilities include inspecting final assemblies and supplier parts, staying compliant with safety rules, and documenting findings.

Experience/Training/Education
Qualifications Guidelines

Desired: 1-2 years of verifiable inspection experience.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Requires knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems; requires an eye for detail. Ability to observe and document processes. Ability to present findings to upper level management and to implementation teams. Thorough knowledge and understanding of applicable operating and documentation procedures, and material flow; ability to meet deadlines; to understand and follow written and verbal instructions; ability to understand and follow posted work rules and procedures; ability to accept constructive criticism; ability to prioritize, organize, solve problems, and complete tasks independently; ability to lead, supervise and train others; ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with subordinates, members of management, suppliers, and other employees.

The final compensation offer may vary based on factors such as experience, education, skills, and location. Physical And Environmental Elements

This is a production classification and employees work indoors and outdoors (in all seasons) with exposure to noise, chemicals, heavy equipment and machinery. Accurate hand/eye coordination is required. Finger dexterity is required, as well as hand strength, with the ability to grasp, lift, push and pull. Work involves considerable climbing, twisting, bending, squatting and kneeling for long periods of time. May lift parts weighing up to 50 pounds and pull approximately 20 lbs

Special Requirements/Certification

Forklift operator license.
