Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Inside Sales Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will oversee the inside sales team, drive sales growth, and ensure exceptional customer service to our contractors and retail clients.
Additional duties will include:
- Lead, mentor, and train the inside sales team to achieve sales targets and deliver excellent service.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share and customer retention.
- Manage daily sales operations, including order processing, billing, and customer inquiries.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
- Collaborate with the warehouse and procurement teams to ensure product availability and timely deliveries.
- Monitor sales performance metrics and prepare reports for management.
- Stay current on industry trends, competitor activities, and product knowledge.
- Handle escalated customer issues and resolve conflicts efficiently.
- Resolve issues related to customer orders in accordance with our policies and procedures (SPIs)
- Perform other tasks as requested by the Sales Manager and PCM
Qualifications
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent; College and/or University degree an asset
- A minimum of 1 year of experience with customer service or counter sales
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software to communicate via email, analyze customer data and update customer contact files
- Outstanding customer service and verbal communication skills
- Excellent relationship building skills with customers, vendors, and teammates
- Ability to identify customer needs, provide profitable solutions and close the sale
- Ability to learn and operate the applicable software system used to process orders
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple tasks
- Intermediate math skills
- Able to learn how to operate material handling equipment
Preferred Skills:
- Previous experience with or knowledge of products sold at the Profit Centre
- Experience using Trend, Eclipse, Word, Excel, and Outlook
Additional Information
Salary Range - 55-60k starting based on experience and qualifications
