Job summary

Wolseley Canada seeks an Inside Sales Representative at our Lloydminster location to deliver exceptional customer service, prepare quotations, process orders, and support branch operations. The role emphasizes proactive relationship-building with customers and driving sales in a collaborative team setting.

You will manage pricing, inventory, and delivery details while assisting with multiple areas of branch operations including warehouse and deliveries.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Civil Engineering Technology, or related discipline is considered an asset.
• Inside sales/customer-facing experience in construction, HVAC, plumbing, waterworks, or related industry preferred.
• Experience with valves and valve estimation is considered an asset.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a company vehicle when required.

Responsibilities

• Complete the order process with pricing according to margins and source additional products.
• Enter quotations and orders accurately and promptly.
• Provide customers with pricing, inventory, and delivery information.
• Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers by phone and email to drive business.
• Prepare quotations and process orders for outside sales staff.
• Respond to customer requests promptly and professionally.
• Achieve sales targets by promoting and upselling products.
• Support branch operations including warehouse, yard, and delivery activities as needed.
• Perform local deliveries and customer pickups when required.
• Participate in branch on-call rotation after training.

The Opportunity

Join the Lloydminster location as an Inside Sales Representative, where you'll provide exceptional customer service, prepare quotations, process orders, and support branch operations. What you will do:

• Complete the order process, including offering pricing terms according to established margins, sourcing additional products, and generating sales orders.
• Enter quotations and orders into the system accurately and in a timely manner.
• Provide customers with accurate pricing, inventory, and delivery information.
• Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers by phone and email to drive additional business.
• Prepare quotations and process orders on behalf of outside sales staff.
• Respond to customer requests and inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Achieve sales targets and objectives by promoting and upselling products.
• Support branch operations by assisting with warehouse, yard, and inventory-related activities as required.
• Perform local deliveries and customer pickups when needed.
• Participate in the branch on-call rotation once fully trained and scheduled.
• Adhere to company safety policies and regulations.

What you will bring :

• Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Civil Engineering Technology, or a related discipline is considered an asset.
• Previous inside sales experience in the construction, HVAC, plumbing, waterworks, or related industry preferred.
• Experience with valves and valve estimation is considered an asset.
• Valid driver's license and ability to safely operate a company vehicle when required.
• Willingness to support multiple areas of branch operations, including sales, warehouse, yard, and delivery functions.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office; AS400 experience is an asset.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
• Demonstrated initiative with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Bilingualism (French and English) is considered an asset.
