Job summary

Stream-Flo Industries is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join our Edson team. The role emphasizes customer service, building new prospects, and managing orders for wellhead equipment.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of industry experience, strong communication and organizational skills, and familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP. A high school diploma is required, with a technical diploma favored. Valid driver’s license is needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service while meeting requirements and company guidelines.
• Develop new prospects and engage existing customers to grow sales.
• Handle customer orders and inquiries for wellhead equipment.
• Oversee order process from quote to delivery.
• Ensure POs and deliveries are generated in the ERP system.
• Enter branch notifications into the ERP.
• Generate stock orders, transfers, and receiving functions.
• Create wellhead quotations in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with Edmonton Inside Sales and Calgary Sales on quotes.
• Participate in annual inventory count and on-call duties.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for an Inside Sales Representative to join our Edson team!

Key Position Functions

• Provide a strong commitment to customer service while successfully meeting customer requirements and following company guidelines and best practices.
• Develop new prospects and interact with existing customers to increase sales of company products and/or services.
• Field incoming customer orders and inquiries for thermal wellhead and gate valve equipment and service requirements.
• Originate the order process and oversee to completion stage.
• Ensure Purchase Orders and Sales Deliveries are generated for required equipment orders within the ERP system.
• Enter notifications for the Branch into the ERP system.
• Generate stock order requests, transfers and receiving functions.
• Create and design wellhead quotations in a timely manner.
• Request and compile information from Stream-Flo departments and internal customers.
• Collect and organize well information; maintain well files and Field Service records.
• Work in conjunction with other groups and members such as Edmonton Inside Sales and Calgary Sales for quotes and project-based equipment.
• Assist with annual inventory count.
• On call responsibilities.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Preferred candidates will possess a combination of the following qualifications:

• Minimum of a High School Diploma. Related post-secondary/technical diploma is an asset.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of industry experience.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication (oral and written), team, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of wellhead equipment, drilling and completion operations preferred.
• Familiarity with manufacturing process and Engineering drawings and specifications is an asset.
• High proficiency with Microsoft applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and ERP software such as SAP.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and be accurate with a high attention to detail.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license, non-GDL; must be able to provide a current driver’s abstract.
