Core-Mark, a Performance Food Group Company, is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to drive sales and profitability for assigned accounts. You will handle order taking, processing, pricing within guidelines, and monitor accounts receivable as part of the sales team.

This role emphasizes growth, account penetration, presenting promotions, resolving issues, and delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Qualifications

• High School or GED certificate.
• 1–3 years field sales or inside sales or customer service experience.
• Energetic and entrepreneurial spirit with strong communication.
• Proficient with data entry, MS Office, and typing.
• Ability to solve practical problems and work with concrete variables.

Responsibilities

• Profitable growth of assigned customers; increasing line item penetration, gross profit dollars, per drop increases and overall increase in customer base.
• Responsible for account penetration and product presentations.
• Presentation of ongoing promotions to accounts.
• Responsible for customer/account issue resolution and providing exceptional service.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Position Details

• $20.00 / hour starting
• Shift: Monday to Friday, start time TBD

Position Summary

As an Inside Sales Representative, you are responsible for the sales and profitability growth of specific accounts in an assigned ledger which includes order taking, order processing, order guide maintenance, pricing maintenance within guidelines set by the sales manager, accounts receivable monitoring of assigned accounts. You are a team member of the broader Sales team and will perform duties as assigned to best serve the company.
