About the opportunity:

The Inside Sales Specialist (ISS) is a critical role, as this is an extension of our direct selling force. This role will work directly with internal stakeholders and prospects to:

  1. Build new relationships with businesses.
  2. Inform decision makers about Dayforce products.
  3. Identify new opportunities to increase sales pipeline.
  4. Help progress existing opportunities.
  5. Provide strategic support to ensure a smooth sales process end-to-end.

Some travel may be required for corporate and sales team meetings.

What you’ll get to do:
  1. Partner with Account Executives to strategically target assigned accounts.
  2. Research accounts and understand targeted prospect’s Human Capital Management needs, challenges, and future roadmap through conversations across prospect organization.
  3. Understand Dayforce’s product suite and demonstrate knowledge to make targeted prospect recommendations.
  4. Generate new relationships and sales opportunities through account-based prospecting, targeting multiple personas inside the account through a multi-channel outreach (daily outbound outreach, telephone, email, webinar, social media, direct mail campaigns, key strategic initiatives, etc.).
  5. Apply critical time management skills to manage sales partnerships, maintain consistent communication with prospects, execute outbound efforts, engage with decision makers, develop pipeline, and progress opportunities.
  6. Communicate and work with Account Executives throughout the sales process to establish and execute strategies that effectively present a solid business case to prospects on how to best leverage Ceridian.
  7. Attain sales quota by creating and executing a business plan with partners to exceed revenue goals and evangelize Dayforce value.
  8. Continuously maintain pipeline data and update daily activity in CRM.
Skills and experience we value:
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business preferred - or equivalent work experience.
  2. 3+ years of sales experience (B2B and HCM SaaS preferred).
  3. Strong prospecting, financial and business analysis skills.
  4. Excellent communications, presentation, and people skills are essential to creating the right rapport.
  5. Proven organizational skills and highly self-disciplined.
  6. Computer proficiency with standard office applications.
  7. Excellent time management skills critical to success.
  8. Driven to succeed attitude, organized, creative, and team-success oriented.
  9. An understanding of common sales cycles.
What would make you really stand out:
  1. 2+ years of prospecting experience in a business-to-business environment.
  2. 3+ years of sales experience nurturing pipeline with 6+ month sales cycles.
  3. Experience working with and selling to Senior and C-level roles.
  4. Prior experience in an Inside Sales, Business Development or Virtual Sales role.
  5. Experience using Software Sales tech stack like: Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Outreach, Sendoso, and Vidyard.
