Job description

As an Inside Sales Associate, you will interact with customers, understand their needs, and recommend products or services that meet their requirements. Your role involves building relationships with customers, driving sales, and contributing to the achievement of sales targets and business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-ups and outbound cold calls and emails.
• Prospect call preparation including company background research and other pertinent lead information.
• Process quote requests, sales, and purchase orders accurately and efficiently using our QuickBooks system.
• Assist with inventory management tasks, such as stock counts, restocking and receiving shipments, as needed.
• Monitor and replenish inventory stock levels.
• Build rapport and develop relationships with customers to encourage repeated business and loyalty.
• Perform shipping quotes, arrange shipments with our carriers and cross-border custom brokers, receive shipments and document all shipments received and sent out in our QuickBooks system.
• Display professionalism, integrity, and reliability while handing customer interactions and sales transactions.
• Provide product information, features, and benefits to customers to help them make informed purchasing decisions.

Qualifications

• At least 1 - 3 years' of sales experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
• Competency with computers and technology.
• Canadian citizenship or valid Canadian work permit.
