Job summary

Westburne in Burnaby, BC is seeking an Inside Automation Proposal Specialist to join our team. The role focuses on promoting Rockwell Automation products and delivering exceptional service to national customers.

You will support the sales team, provide technical recommendations, and build strong customer relationships to select optimal automation solutions. A related engineering degree and familiarity with Rockwell Automation are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering (or related field).
• Experience in industrial automation, electrical distribution, or control systems is an asset.
• Familiarity with Rockwell Automation products is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support our Specialist and Sales team with Rockwell Automation and Encompassing partner products.
• Provide technical expertise and product recommendations to customers in the electrical, electronics, and instrumentation fields.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, assisting them in selecting the best solutions for their automation needs.
• Obtain orders/quotation requests through Dynamics 365, telephone calls, inside sales team.
• Follow up on written quotations to secure orders or reason for loss of order.
• Maintain system backorder report.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging automation technologies.
