Job summary

Unity Health Toronto, including St Joseph's Health Centre, seeks an Inpatient Pharmacy Technician to support the hospital's drug distribution and patient care.

You will perform unit-dose distribution, repackaging, IV admixture (including chemotherapy and TPNs), replenish ward stock medications, assist with BPMHs to support MedRec, and ensure accuracy and timeliness of pharmaceutical preparation and delivery.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Technician Program completed at an accredited college.
• Experience with Best Possible Medication Histories is an asset.
• Must be registered or in process with Ontario College of Pharmacists.
• Ability to manage duties with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform unit-dose distribution, repackaging, IV admixture including chemotherapy and TPNs.
• Replenish ward stock medications and manage narcotic/controlled substances.
• Support MedRec by obtaining BPMHs and ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
