Job summary

Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center in Vermont is seeking a full-time occupational therapist to join our inpatient OT team. You will be one of two primary therapists for the inpatient rehab unit, conducting evaluations and delivering patient-centered care to hospitalized individuals.

Responsibilities include maintaining electronic medical records, collaborating with the care team, and contributing to a clinical ladder program with advancement compensation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of Occupational Therapy.
• Effective oral communication skills and overall professional behavior.
• New grad or experienced therapist welcomed.

Mt. Ascutney is seeking a full-time occupational therapist to join our dynamic team of skilled clinicians in the Inpatient Occupational Therapy department. The OT will be one of two primary therapists for the inpatient rehab unit. A willingness to learn, strong communication skills and accountability are a must.Responsibilities include evaluations and patient-centered treatment for hospitalized people with a variety of diagnoses, maintaining appropriate electronic medical records, and working cooperatively with other members of the health care team to provide optimal care.

Qualifications

Graduate of an approved school of Occupational Therapy. Must demonstrate effective oral communication skills and overall professional behavior. May be a new grad or an experienced therapist.

Licensure & Certifications

Current licensure in the State of Vermont. BLS Certification.
