Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, part of the BMW Group, invites placement year students to join the New Model Launch Team at Goodwood. You will work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment to prepare for motorcar builds, manage activities, and deliver products while meeting cost, quality and time targets.

We are seeking externally studying undergraduates or integrated Masters in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering, on track for at least a 2:2, who can handle change and ambiguity.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelors or integrated Masters in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering.
• Aim for 2:2 or above.
• Able to thrive in a dynamic environment with ambiguity.

Responsabilités

• Support the team to improve parts, products or processes; define root cause, experiment and implement solutions.
• Assist with business process improvements including digitalisation and KPI creation; map processes and report performance.
• Support daily stand-up meetings with the wider team.
• Stay highly visible within the organisation and handle a dynamic workload.
• Mentorship and real‑world production experience with opportunities to take initiative.
• Explore other technologies to broaden understanding of the business.
