Job summary

Ledcor is recruiting a Cost Controller for its infrastructure division in Ontario, with base operations in Whitby and posting in Oshawa. The role reports to the Project Controls Manager and leads budgeting, forecasting, risk management and earned value reporting for large infrastructure projects.

The candidate should have 8+ years in project controls, a related engineering/Construction Management degree, and experience with alliance or target price delivery models.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in project controls on large infrastructure projects.
• Degree in engineering or construction management.
• Experience with alliance or target price agreements.
• Experience in claims prevention, negotiation and dispute resolution.

Responsibilities

• Establish and monitor project budgets; track productivity and provide financial updates.
• Lead cost and schedule performance reporting (EV, SPI, CPI) and propose corrective actions.
• Support commercial and procurement teams on subcontractor claims assessment and claims development.
• Develop and maintain the project cost controls plan and procedures; align data with schedulers.
• Manage change including change orders, directives and claims.
