CIMA+ is seeking an experienced Team Lead, Contract Administration for our Infrastructure team in Canada. You will lead contract administration efforts on municipal infrastructure projects, oversee QA, and manage progress payments.

This role requires strong leadership and a deep understanding of contract law and project delivery. Based in one of our offices (Burlington, Kitchener, Mississauga, or Bowmanville), you will guide teams, liaise with contractors and clients, and drive continuous

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of contract administration experience in municipal infra or water/wastewater projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, documents, specifications, and change/delay principles.
• Ability to interpret drawings and technical specs precisely.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage contract administration teams on multiple projects.
• Oversee inspection services and quality assurance across projects.
• Supervise measurement of construction progress and approve payment certificates.
• Direct and manage project documentation and progress reports.
• Review change requests, claims, and potential disputes.
• Coordinate with contractors, clients, and municipal officials on status updates and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with traffic control regulations, environmental requirements, and by-laws.
• Mentor junior staff and support continuous improvement.
