Job summary

Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects is seeking a Senior QA/QC Engineer for Datacenter projects to lead onsite QA/QC efforts and ensure milestones are met with high quality. You will coordinate with the client, project managers, and construction teams to drive rigorous quality processes across mechanical and electrical systems.

The role requires 5+ years in QA/QC and commissioning of complex infrastructure, plus a mechanical or electrical engineering degree or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in QA/QC for mechanical and electrical systems for data centers or other mission-critical facilities.
• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in commissioning complex infrastructure projects and a proven track record of managing MEP teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, or related field) OR relevant trade / vocational school with 3 years related experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive the onsite QA/QC process, guiding teams to meet milestones on time and within budget.
• Coordinate daily quality activities with client and GC teams as the client's representative.
• Oversee quality inspections for mechanical and electrical systems (HVAC, CRAC, switchgear, UPS, etc.).
• Develop and approve quality plans, procedures, and protocols aligned with project requirements.
• Review quality reports and ensure proper documentation for turnover to operations.
• Ensure compliance with codes and safety regs and suggest energy efficiency improvements.

• (Internal Title: Quality Manager)
  • You’ll drive the quality process for all onsite QA/QC requirements, providing direction, coordination, mentoring, performance management for onsite teams from all parties ensure project milestones are achieved on time, within budget and foster a collaborative, high-performance culture focused on delivering quality results
  • You’ll liaise with the client and GC teams to plan and coordinate daily quality activities, leading the quality process onsite as clients representative
  • You’ll direct and oversee the quality inspections for mechanical systems (e.g., HVAC, chillers, CRAC units, cooling towers, etc.) and electrical systems (e.g., switchgear, UPS, generators, RPPs, PDUs, etc)
  • You’ll develop and approve quality plans, procedures, and protocols for mechanical and electrical systems and ensure alignment with project requirements, client expectations, and industry best practices
  • You’ll identify and resolve complex issues related to mechanical and electrical systems during quality inspections, and work with the construction and operations teams to implement effective solutions in a timely manner
  • You’ll review and approve detailed quality reports, including test results / ITPs, issue logs to ensure proper documentation is maintained for turnover to operational teams
  • You’ll ensure all systems comply with applicable codes, standards, specifications and safety regulations (e.g., ASHRAE, NFPA, NE, etc. ) and recommend process improvements to enhance energy efficiency, sustainability, and operational reliability
  • You’ll act as the primary point of contact for clients, project managers, and other stakeholders regarding all quality activities and provide clear communication on project progress, challenges, and resolutions
• Work Location
  • Flexible: The work location for this role will include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client or in an Accenture office or center.

• Experience:
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in QA/QC for mechanical and electrical systems for data centers or other mission‑critical facilities
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in commissioning complex infrastructure projects and a proven track record of managing MEP teams
• Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, or related field) OR relevant trade / vocational school and additional three (3) years of related experience
• BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
  • Advanced certifications such as Six Sigma, ASQ etc
  • Experience with QA/QC of hyperscale and / or colocation data centers
  • Familiarity with advanced monitoring systems such as BMS, EPMS and SCADA
  • Flexibility to travel to work location
