Role Overview

This position, internally titled Project Management III, involves managing real property projects from inception to completion. The role requires collaboration with senior project staff, stakeholders, and clients to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities

1. Implement assigned projects, supporting project delivery in line with the project plan.
2. Track, monitor, and report on project performance, addressing issues proactively.
3. Ensure adherence to scope, schedule, and budget during construction phases.
4. Manage RFI and change order processes during construction.
5. Provide regular forecasts and escalate issues to senior management.
6. Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders including clients, contractors, and consultants.
7. Develop project plans with stakeholder input and allocate resources effectively.
8. Supervise project staff and monitor their performance.
9. Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and implement contingency plans.
10. Evaluate project effectiveness through stakeholder feedback.

Working Conditions

Office-based environment.

Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of project management experience, including construction supervision.
• Experience working with the Federal Government; valid reliability or secret security clearance required.
• Bilingual in French and English is an asset.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Recognized certifications such as PMI Project Management, CAPM, or PMP are required.
