Role Overview

This position, internally titled Project Management III, involves leading infrastructure projects within the heavy rail, civil, and transit sectors. The role requires collaboration with various stakeholders, managing project scope, schedule, safety, and quality, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Foster a positive, collaborative work environment and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
  2. Support project scope definition, development, and implementation phases.
  3. Manage consultant tasks, work plans, and technical documentation.
  4. Assist in directing project agreements and interface with third-party stakeholders like municipalities and transit agencies.
  5. Coordinate construction activities, perform site visits, and prepare related documents.
  6. Monitor project progress, safety, and quality, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  7. Manage scope changes, risks, and issues, and collaborate on corrective measures.
  8. Work in a hybrid environment, including remote, onsite, and office settings.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 8 years of project management experience, especially in heavy rail or civil projects within CN and GO rail corridors.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Recognized PMP certification.
  • Strong knowledge of construction management practices, safety procedures, and project management tools.
  • Experience working with municipalities, transit agencies, and multi-disciplinary transit projects is advantageous.
