Job summary

Optima Living in Calgary is seeking a co-op student to join the Infrastructure & Capital Improvement team. You will work on financial analysis, capital planning, and operational performance, contributing to real projects that impact residents and operations across the organization.

These positions are funded through WIL Digital and Co-op Grants. To qualify, candidates must be Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or protected persons as defined under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a relevant post-secondary program and eligibility for WIL/coop funding.
• Comfortable with details, data, and structured tasks.
• Ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; basic Power BI skills a plus.
• Clear communication and ability to work independently and in a team.

As a co-op student, you will not be doing side work, you will work with the Infrastructure & Capital Improvement team on financial analysis, capital planning, and operational performance and will contribute to real projects that impact employees, residents, and operations across the organization. These positions are funded through WIL Digital and Co-op Grants program. To qualify for a placement under the program's funding requirements, candidates must be Canadian citizens, permanent residents of Canada, or protected persons as defined under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act. International students are ineligible for this funding program, as per the program’s eligibility criteria.

Eligibility

• Enrolled in a Co-op or Work-Integrated Learning (WIL)
• Currently attending a post-secondary institution
• Open to domestic students (Canadian Citizen/Permanent Residents) only.
