Job summary

Optima Living in Calgary is seeking a co-op student to join the Infrastructure & Capital Improvement team. You will perform financial analysis, capital planning, and operational performance work on real projects affecting residents and operations across the organization.

These positions are funded through WIL Digital and Co-op Grants. To qualify, candidates must be Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or protected persons as defined, with international students ineligible for funding.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a relevant post-secondary program or co-op/Internship requirement.
• Comfortable working with details, data, and structured tasks.
• Able to manage deadlines and handle multiple priorities.
• Working knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Clear communication and willingness to ask questions.
• Able to work independently and collaborate with a team.

Responsibilities

• Analyze asset and financial performance data.
• Build dashboards and reports (Excel / Power BI).
• Support capital planning and investment decisions.
• Conduct market and financial research.
• Assist with cross-functional asset projects.
