The Opportunity

The Lousbury Group of Companies is seeking an experienced Information & Communication Technology (ICT) Manager to support our ICT team and business units. We require a conscientious, highly motivated, and career-minded individual to ensure the effective operation of IT services and support across our organization. Responsibilities include overseeing IT project management, resource management, supervising IT staff, and communicating with the executive team, business unit leaders, and end users. The ICT Manager will also handle IT strategic and tactical planning, as well as the identification, selection, and deployment of technological resources aligned with corporate goals.

Responsibilities
  1. Managing IT Operations: Oversee daily IT department operations, ensuring efficient support for all technology needs.
  2. Office 365 Administration: Manage and maintain Office 365 applications for seamless user functionality.
  3. Cybersecurity: Monitor cybersecurity tools to protect data and systems from threats.
  4. Microsoft Suite Security: Implement security measures like MFA and ensure compliance.
  5. Hardware Management: Support maintenance of printers, photocopiers, phones, and office equipment.
  6. Network Security: Manage Fortinet firewalls and switches for secure network connectivity.
  7. Technical Support: Provide troubleshooting and support to minimize downtime.
  8. Relationship Management: Maintain vendor relationships for optimal service.
  9. Compliance and Training: Ensure compliance and provide staff IT training.
  10. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the IT team fostering collaboration and innovation.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in IT management.
  • Strong knowledge of networking, operating systems, server architectures.
  • Proficiency with VPNs, firewalls, encryption, and security technologies.
  • Effective project management and leadership skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Resourcefulness, flexibility, and adaptability.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills.

This position requires on-site work at our Lounsbury Chevrolet dealership located at 2155 West Main Street, with travel within New Brunswick.
