Job summary

Westcoast Child Care Resource Centre seeks an Infant Toddler Educator in Vancouver, BC to provide an early learning and care program. The focus is on social-emotional well-being, with a Reggio Emilia–inspired approach aligned with BC’s ELF and FHNH values, and collaboration with other educators to plan and implement an innovative program.

You will build strong relationships with children, families and colleagues through effective communication and ongoing professional development.

• Ability to provide programming based on the principles of the Reggio Emilia approach and BC’s ELF
• Strength in building and maintaining supportive and collaborative partnerships with children of all abilities,families, and colleagues

Job description

The Infant Toddler Educator is responsible for the provision of an early learning and care program that fosters a positive, and emergent learning environment with a focus on the social and emotional well being of all children. We are an inclusive, multicultural, dynamic and collaborative child care setting which includes working with other educators to plan and implement a progressive and innovative program inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, BC Early Learning Framework in concert with the values of FHNH. Other responsibilities include developing strong and collaborative relationships and communication with children, families, and colleagues.
